Installing a BlueCielo web service

The BlueCielo web services comprise the Meridian Web Service and the ImandrA Web Service. You install the web service that corresponds to the vault type that you want to make accessible through SharePoint Server. The BlueCielo web service is installed on the Internet Information Services server that is connected to the vault, whether BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise or BlueCielo ImandrA.

Before you begin

Read and satisfy the requirements described in Understanding the system requirements and About the security requirements.

To install a BlueCielo web service:

1. Open the web service installer package located in the distribution package for your vault type, Meridian Enterprise or ImandrA. The Welcome page appears.
2. Click Next. The Select Installation Address page appears.
3. Select the website where you want to install the service from the Site list.
4. Select the application pool in which you want to run the service from the Application Pool list.
5. Click Next. The Confirm Installation page appears.
6. Click Next. The Installing page displays the installation progress until the Installation Complete page appears.
7. Click Close.
8. Create a new folder named tmp in the website folder. Grant the site users read and write access to the folder.
